UUSC-UUA Burma Cyclone Relief Fund

UUSC and the Unitarian Universalist Association have joined to launch a humanitarian relief fund to help survivors of the cyclone in Myanmar (formerly Burma).

With your generous support, the UUSC will provide humanitarian relief through groups in the affected region in an effort to help survivors, particularly those at risk of being overlooked by mainstream relief.

Presidents & Minsters Convocation, rescheduled to Sept. 20

The relationship between your congregational lay leader and your minister is a crucial one.

Congregational Presidents and their Ministers are invited to a one-day workshop on Saturday, September 20, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

This workshop is an opportunity to plan how best to work together to accomplish the ministry of your congregation. Facilitated by District Executive Terasa Cooley, we will explore expectations and responsibilities, work styles and best practices for a healthy working relationship.
